| LOCATION | The station is located at 01° 18'S 36° 45' E
at an altitude of 1795m and is within the compound of the Kenya
Meteorological Department headquarters at Dagoretti Corner, Nairobi.

| HISTORY | It started operations in May 1996. |
| EQUIPMENT | The station uses Model 2Z ECC Ozonsondes coupled electronically to a Vaisala RS-80-15 Meteorological Radiosonde. Ground equipment comprises of a receiver, modem and a PC for real time data acquisition and processing. |
| DATA | Weekly ozone profiles are available since November 1996.The ozone data is regularly sent to the World Ozone and Ultraviolet Radiation Data Centre (WOUDC) in Canada. |
